The base unit contains a small pump which (when activated) pumps air from the incubator into the MemStir, which then enables active aeration of the media even in the incubator.

No, the Incu does not come with sensors as standard and does not offer BioThrust#s in-situ perfusion. However, you do have 3 free PG13.5 ports to use with pumps or your own sensors.

Cells grow freely in suspension or are adherent to microcarriers. The system is not designed to cultivate adherent cells on the membrane’s surface! It is comparable to a regular STR in operation.

ComfyCell SUBs completely avoid dead zones through intelligent CFD-supported design of the MemStir & vessel wall / vessel bottom interaction and therefore support processes such as iPSC spheroid aggregation from single cells.
